This Morning Cold Splash is an
excellent way to wake yourself up before going for a brisk walk. It
promotes the circulation and stimulates the systems of elimination. It
is very beneficial if practiced regularly.
Be sure that your body temperature
is warm before performing the Morning Cold Splash. Go directly from
your warm bed, before early morning chill sets in.
Do the cold splash quickly, so
that it doesn’t take more than a few minutes. Sit in the empty tub
with the stopper in place. Turn on the cold water and use your hands
to splash it all over your body, washing first the arms and legs, then
the abdomen, then the chest and back. Rub the skin with your hands as
you splash water over your body. Use a brush to reach your back if you
cannot reach it otherwise.
Leave the tub and dry yourself
quickly with a coarse towel. Finish by rubbing with your hands until
your skin is dry and smooth and you are glowing from the friction and
the reaction to the cold water. At the end of this bath, you should
feel warmth and comfort throughout your body. |
